Created in collaboration with the Maryland Museum of Natural Sciences, this medium roast blends beans from Brazil, Colombia, and India for a rich, balanced cup with notes of cocoa, toasted walnut, brown sugar, milk chocolate, orange, and velvety creaminess.
The inspiration comes from Baltimore Gneiss, one of Maryland’s oldest rocks, now on display at the Maryland Museum of Natural Sciences. Formed 1.1 billion years ago when continental plates collided, it helped build the mighty Grenville Mountains as part of the ancient supercontinent Rodinia. Intrigued? Gneiss!
